Hello, and welcome to the Christ Community School website! On behalf of the Board of Directors, administration, faculty and staff, all of us at CCS welcome the opportunity to partner with you to educate and train the next generation of Christian leaders in America.
As you learn more about Christ Community School, you will notice several unique things about our school.
First, we are authentic followers of Christ. Our commitment is demonstrated through natural integration of biblical principles throughout our entire curriculum, application of God’s word during moments throughout the school day, and our desire of obedience to God’s will. We want our students to not only learn academic skills necessary for making a living, but also how to live in a way that has meaning, purpose, honor, and brings glory to God.
Second, we offer a distinctive education. Our program expertly weaves a balance of enrichment classes and traditional academic courses. Our teachers are certified in their areas of expertise and have experience in artistically crafting an exciting and rigorous curriculum for students. Students benefit from our diverse program including phonics, literature, writing, science, mathematics, social studies, and Bible classes. Our children also thrive with weekly enrichment courses such as Music, Art, Spanish, STEM, P.E., and Library classes.
Third, Christ Community School is connected in the community. All of our students are able to be the hands and feet of Jesus by participating in grade level service projects. We focus on helping our local community as well as global and international needs of others. CCS staff members also routinely volunteer and serve both collectively and as individuals in our community and our local churches. We support various organizations such as Crisis Assistance Center, Interfaith, CASA, Family Promise, and Compassion International.
Fourth, at Christ Community School, we partner with our parents. Our family atmosphere creates a sense of love and belonging. We strongly feel that home, church, and school must work together cohesively in order to provide our children with the foundation they need to become who Christ created them to be. We invite parents to be an active part of their child’s education and encourage parents to engage through volunteering, attending weekly chapel, chaperoning, attending one of our many community events, joining us for prayer, assisting teachers with classroom and home projects, and many other areas. We recognize that it takes a village to raise a child and no one person can do this alone. We are honored to work alongside our parents in order to achieve their greatest success - raising a child who will have a relationship with their Lord and Savior,
In summary, our goal is to provide a superior education in a warm and nurturing environment that equips students to serve and lead in Christ.
