Authentic Followers of Christ

Christ Community School is made up of staff members and families who genuinely love and obey God. “Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws, and his commands always” (Deut. 11:1). This is evident at our school throughout the entire day and interwoven into everything we do. From an academic perspective our students participate in Bible class daily and chapel weekly so they may become knowledgeable in biblical truths and work toward their own personal relationship with their Lord and Savior. To us, being authentic followers of Christ means walking in obedience to the Lord’s vision for our school, praying and seeking wisdom in all matters of teaching His children, committing ourselves to honoring God’s will and glorifying Him with our works. It also means we embrace opportunities to serve others, we pray often, we study and memorize scripture and we work together to be a strong village of Christians. All of our staff, faculty, and families agree to the below statement of faith.

Statement of faith

These statements of faith are acknowledged and held in agreement by all associated with Christ Community School:
We believe that the Bible is the only inspired written word of God and is inerrant by His design; that God is all powerful and the Creator of heaven and earth – in a triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that Jesus is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, that Jesus led a sinless life, and that His death on the cross and resurrection paid the penalty for sin and purchased salvation for all who acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. Ephesians 2:8-9 that “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith….not by works.”
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the moment of spiritual rebirth and that the Holy Spirit unifies us and enables us as believers to accomplish the will of God; and that Jesus Christ will literally return to this Earth to claim His own and that unbelievers will be eternally separated from God.
