We Celebrate Chivalry.

As CCS Knights, we look up to chivalry, and celebrate the expression of chivalrous character traits in every way possible. Our curriculum is integrated with monthly character virtues and students are rewarded whenever they display one of the traits in a little way, and in one big surprise at the end each semester.

Chapel

Every Wednesday morning our grades gather together under one roof united by Christ for praise and worship. We hold combined chapel for all grades at least monthly and also for special occasions. We focus on a character attribute each month to bring light on what it means to truly live out these virtues.

Dress Code

Our students take pride in who we are as a collective whole, and with our dress code policy, we bring that sense of unity into the classroom. It not only promotes a more composed setting, but directs the focus towards academics and good behavior. This allows them to express themselves within certain guidelines, so that the attention isn’t solely on their wardrobe. Follow this link to read more on our dress code and philosophy >>>

Knight Care

For our parents who can’t pick up their children right after school, we are more than happy to provide Knight Care, our on-site after-school care, from 3:15 – 6 pm. Parents can rest assured that students are in excellent care under the supervision of the CCS staff. We provide an opportunity for students to complete their homework while also enjoying a snack and playtime with other students. The lower school day concludes at 3:00 pm. Students that are not picked up by 3:15 are taken to extended care until parents arrive. This service can be used on a regular or as needed basis. Fees for extended care are billed to the student’s account on a monthly basis.

After School Enrichment

We’re here to look after every individual’s needs – every different age group has a tailored after-school program they can participate in.

Sports

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. We positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through our best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum.

Little Dribblers

Our students learn beginner basketball skills together after-school: coordination, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Let your little ones dribble on our court with guidance and have fun in a safe, supportive environment.

Martial Arts

This practice instills a sense of awareness of the body and mind, helping students become more focused and able to put mind over matter. The primary disciplines of Martial Arts are to achieve restraint, control, balance, and leadership potential. Students learn boundaries, the basics of self defense, as well as more intrinsic values such as self-confidence and pride.

Cheerleading

Excitement and school spirit fill the air while our student leaders develop confidence and learn chants and cheers. Practice is not just for fun, but to build up life skills such as dedication and commitment, as students have the opportunity to perform at community and school events, bringing a greater sense of pride to our school’s atmosphere.

Chimal Circus Arts

Students here will experience the true circus atmosphere by learning routines of various disciplines. All circus arts activities are taught by real circus professionals. Fitness, Agility, Balance, Strength, Self-Confidence and Coordination are the side products of the circus. Students will work under a circus tent and study the basic skills of circus arts. They are given the opportunity to challenge themselves, while at the same time having fun.

Intellectual Activities

Robotics

With STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) lacking in most schools nationwide, we’re proud to include a program which engages students in building robots on teams. While learning software programming, hands-on engineering, and basic physics through trial-and-error, students grow together in a forward-thinking environment to merge mechanics with computing. Robotics classes grow students problem solving, critical decision making, and mathematical skills exponentially.

Beginner Band

Through Paul Sommers’ Instruments of Praise program, your child has the opportunity to develop a well-rounded skillset through learning the basics of musical instruments. Students may join with their instrument of choice – flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, trombone, or percussion – which must be purchased beforehand, along with a music stand. The students work leads up to a concert that will be performed with other private schools and home-school groups at the conclusion of the semester.

German

This beginner class gives curious and creative minds an option to explore another language in a supportive environment – engaging them in learning vocabulary and employing simple sentences and expressions in daily life.
